Who We Are
An Australian brand built by nurses, for anyone who deserves better than boring.
We started with crew socks, because that's where the gap was. Then our community asked for compression, and we listened. That's still how we work: we pay attention to what people actually need, and we make it.
The range has grown since then, but the idea hasn't changed. Practical, comfortable, and designed with enough personality that getting dressed for work feels like a choice, not a compromise.
Our Story
How It Started
Sistasaidso+ came from conversations between us, Jemima and Sarah, during shifts.
We were both working as paediatric nurses, juggling long hours and family life, and kept coming back to the same thing. Everything we wore to work felt the same. Functional, but pretty bland. There wasn’t much out there that actually felt like it was made for us, or by people who understood what the job is really like.
We wanted products that held up during a full day on your feet, but also felt a bit more personal. Something that didn’t just blend in with every other uniform.
So we started small, testing different ideas while still working as nurses and raising our kids. Over time, compression socks became the thing people kept coming back for, and it’s what we’re now best known for.

What We Make
Our compression socks are designed around what we’ve experienced ourselves on shift.
- 15–20 mmHg graduated compression
- Breathable, lightweight fabric that’s comfortable all day
- Reinforced heel and toe for durability
- Flat seams to avoid rubbing and pressure
- Non-slip cuffs so they stay in place
- Moisture-wicking to help with heat and sweat

Nurses and healthcare workers are at the heart of what we do, and always will be. But compression socks don't check your job title before they get to work. If you're on your feet all shift, sitting for hours on a long-haul flight, navigating pregnancy, or just someone who knows their legs feel better with a little support, you're exactly who we make these for.

Why It Matters
Working in healthcare can be a lot. Some days are great, some are really tough, and most are long.
Being able to wear something that feels a bit more like you might seem small, but it can make a difference. Whether that’s a bit of colour, a pattern you like, or just something that feels more considered than the standard options.
That’s always been the goal. Make things that are useful, but also feel good to wear.

Meet the Founders
We're Jem and Sarah. Nurses, mums, and the two women behind Sistasaidso+.
Between us, we've got nearly 20 years of healthcare experience, two sets of tired legs, and an honest opinion about what actually works when you're on your feet all shift.
Sistasaidso+ didn't start as a grand business plan. It grew the way most good things do: quietly, steadily, through real people telling their coworkers and friends about it. Word of mouth from nurses who actually wear our products and trust what we say, because we've been in those shoes (and those compression socks).
We built this alongside our lives outside of the hospital, around shifts, school runs, and everything in between. It's grown into something we're genuinely proud of, and it's still driven by the same thing it always was: healthcare workers deserve products that actually do the job.
